My self-portraiture, whether purely artistic, entirely erotic, or any combination on that spectrum, is born from a need to explore, define, and reclaim myself. Having experienced many things in the years I've existed, I see the contrast each lends to the portrait of my life as a whole, rather than viewing them as solely good or bad. Much like the light and shadow I endeavor to understand and capture in my work, the pain and pleasure, sorrow and joy, hurts and comforts of living allow me to fully appreciate each moment I've been given.
